Footsteps clicked upon stone, leaving brown and red smudges in a trail, followed by the flutter of a black cloak. Tiny hands grasped wooden slats, and gray eyes peered through the spaces. He recognized the sound of his father's brisk approach.

The child's eyes grew wide when a tall figure with a scary face swooped into the room. Draco began to fuss, but then his fears were doused when Lucius removed his half-skull mask.

Draco's teary gaze shifted over his father's form, a happy smile tugging at the corners of the boys delicate lips. There were shiny, wet patches, and splatters on Daddy's robes, though Draco did not know what they were. Lucius was leering, grinning, his eyes the same shade as his sons but tinted with a gleeful madness. Lucius leaned over the edge of the crib and peered at his son who was still wearing a beautiful christening gown. Cissy held on to some religious traditions, though Lucius found them personally ridiculous. She insisted, at least, on this for her son that he might be protected. She would have done it earlier on, had the ritual not been a point of argument for so long between husband and wife. Obviously, Lucius had finally conceded to her on this.

"Quite the night, my Little Dragon," Lucius drawled, watching his boy blink up at him. "We did away with many horrible Muggles, and a few filthy Mudbloods as well. Don't you worry dear boy, Daddy is cleansing the world for you my angel."

It was true that Draco looked like a pale, glowing angel in his perfect christening gown.

"Muh…?" Draco said, trying words out with his young and innocent mouth. "Muh."

"You want your mother?" Lucius asked, toying with a fuzzy bit of whitish blonde. The boys' locks were like down, floating like a cloud-whisp halo above his precious head.

"Muhbub," Draco said, more sure this time.

Lucius' grin grew wide.

"Mudblood?" Lucius began to chuckle.

"Muhbub!" Draco repeated loudly, giggling like his father, and bobbing up and down on his little legs.

"Mudblood!" Lucius cheered. "Cissy, come hear our Dragon say his first word!"

Lucius lifted his son above his head, and spun him merrily, laughing, laughing, laughing, and staining with his defiled fingertips the pure white of Draco's gown with crimson tattoos.
Draco's first word.

Wow, this was good, but so creepy--especially that last image! I almost feel sorry for Draco--Lucius certainly insured that his childhood was messed up from the start! :icondarkmarkplz:
